I won't go into extreme detail but last week I took the citadel in because the check engine came on for the oil pressure sensor. After they kept the car overnight I picked it up the next afternoon. Drove 300 yards out of the dealer list pops on again. Pulled back in and this time knock sensor went bad. Anyways they keep the car again owvr night I pick it up the next afternoon. While waiting for the car to come up to the service drive my advisor or who was assisting me because I haven't actually found an advisor I liked says to me. I'm glad you came back because I need to tell you that rats or field mice have been chewing away some insulation and begun putting marks in some wiring. Dodge said they will cancel your warranty if it continues even if you pay to have all the affected wiring replaced.
My situation is I don't store any of my vehicles in the garage because quite simply I have to many things boat, atvs, etc. I live in the country slightly so rat posion isn't completely out of the question but we do have neighbors that have roaming cats and I don't want to totally eliminate them with posion. Do I put traps in the engine bay or what would be an ideal set up to catch these guys. I'm assuming it rats but could also be field mice because I did find two little nests in the front shock area about a month ago. If I put traps in the engine bay I don't want that to attract them into the engine bay but on the ground I'm afraid raccoons or other critters will take the bait. Any ideas or suggestions?
