I'm on my way to the beaches of mexico this coming weekend. Has anybody had any experiences in sand? Will the D sink or swim? Don't want to be in another country and be stuck. LOL ciao JP

As one who has experienced the joy of Pismo Beach?
You're D should do just fine, so long as you air down. Deflate to 12 to 15 pounds, and bring along an air pump to reinflate when your done with the sand. Also, expect your mileage to be in the low single digits whilst tooling 'round the sandiness on floppy tires.

maybe a pull pall and a come-along so you can extract yourself?
