Not a fan. It's a novelty and that's about it. Only advantage is that it frees up a little space vertically allowing for easy access to the storage tray in front of the shifter. Otherwise, the footprint is about the same as a lever so there's no real gain in horizontal space. It's a little less intuitive so there's a learning curve. But worst of all, there's no real immediate feedback about what gear you're in. With a lever you can see and feel exactly where there lever is at any time and know what setting you've selected. The rotary knob is round and looks/feels exactly the same no matter what you've selected. Of course, the rocker style shift lever that was in the JGC before they fixed it was even worse.
