Oh yeah and the gear ratio is right and it is the larger gear set as well just like the one I have. But was curious as Dodge has 2 different part numbers for the two rear ends. Prob just so they can charge you more for the 4wd unit, lol.

Your 2003 is 4x4 correct? From my research some time ago, I found that the Gen 1 Durangos equipped with the part time 4x4 T case got the larger 9.25 inch rear end. I figured this was because the rear would be seeing 100% engine power/torque when in the 2wd mode. On the other hand, the full time 4x4 (AWD) D's got the smaller 8.25 inch rearend, as it would never see more than 60% engine power.

Either one will fit, and work for you. You have the 3.55 gears?

9.25 rear diff has the octangle shape cover.
8.25 has a round cover.

 

So I have a rubber bushing in one of the arms of the Watts linkage on the rear side of my rear differential that has gone bad. Can I purchase just the rubber bushing and replace it, or is it only sold as part of the whole linkage?
