If you have a local RV dealer or Camping World nearby, I'd wager they have a master key to help you out.
Otherwise, a hacksaw or hardend power saw blade might do, but it'll be a tough job.

Could try freezing the lock with a freon type product and then hit it with a sledge. Or drill the lock itself with a hardened bit. :?

 

The first one I lost the key on, I cut it off in a couple of minutes with a Dremel tool.

The second one I lost the key on is still on there. :doh:

I'd use one of these to cut it off.

I guess it's nothing more then a dremel cutting wheel on steroids. Very handy to have around. It can use a grinding wheel too.

Get the reinforced Dremel cut-off wheel. You'll go through way too many of the regular cut-off wheels on steel. Air tools will make it easier but the dremel will work.

Don't remember. I think it was about $100 to ship from Honolulu to here via barge. Back in 92 it cost me like $700 to ship my Celica from Los Angeles.

I'm in on the meet, but without the D. I've always wanted to visit Hawaii.

As for a spare D in the garage, Angela et al, I may soon be in that club too! My 15 year old was planning (as was I at one time) to get my D when he turns 16 and can drive on his own. Instead, I'll be getting him a used D (or if his mom has her way with my money, a new Dodge Hornet) and I'll be keeping my D.

How about a locksmith? I've seen one hand cut a key to pick a lock. If he gets it open you've also got a new key. Or he may be able to just pick it to get it off without any damage.

good luck cutting that hardened pin, I have the key to mine but the tumbler is broken so the key won't turn, meaning I can't get it out of my 2" drop mount?the hacksaw barely left a mark.
