I am waiting to see what actually comes in the packages when they update the website. I heard the Ralleye could be getting the leather suede combo like the GC altitude for the SXT.

 

That would make for a great sell for me if that happens! We looked at the JGC Altitude last week and loved it, just couldn't go back to not having a third row with kids. So if this option becomes available on the Rallye package, I think i'll have to forfeit my want for the Blacktop...but can always do the grille aftermarket.

 

Either way you go will be Excellent Choice......I prefer white over red, just my taste. THINK HEMI!!!!!!

 

I would love the R/T, it's just not in the cards right now for us with all the traveling we do, MPGs are important! LOL When we bought our current D, we didn't really have that many options without ordering a new one, which at the time wasn't in our favor as we needed a vehicle immediately. So now that we have some time and can actually order if necessary, we definitely want white!

 

My vote is the blacktop package, especially since it was not available when I got my 14. So I had to go get my rims painted black lol.

 

I prefer the Rallye. We took the Blacktop as that's what they had on the lot. I find the gloss black; especially the wheels, a bit "blingy". I admit it's growing on me though...

 

Your profile says you already have a '14 D. Are you getting another one?

 

We have filed lemon law with our current D and since Dodge has the only V6 SUV that is not only visually appealing but fun to drive, we're looking at these options for the next one. As much as we wanted to go back to something we are familiar with(full size SUV) we just love the how different they are compared to those in it's class....Doesn't look like a van!

 

I'd say Rallye. Black is getting a little "overdone" IMO. It's everywhere, and where it's not, people will add it via PlastiDip.

 

My wife and i ordered a white rt w/o the blacktop package and happened to find another white one with all the options we had ordered ours with as well as the blacktop package. As soon as we saw it in person we knew that was the one we wanted. I love how it looks with the grill and rims. I could have gone either way with the mirrors.

 

I just like white on black, we saw a Rallye package that was white, but after seeing your R/T with the blacktop package I'm sold!

 

One more question while I'm thinking about it, the headlight set up on the Rallye package...minus the DRLs(we're looking at the SXT+ currently, but are open to the limited as well) is the actual headlight of the same quality of the R/T or more like the SXT? I apologize for my lack of knowledge in this dept...but am wondering if I'm going to need to upgrade the bulb to be more like the R/T or if it's fine by itself

 

If I read things correctly the limited with the blacktop package gets you the HID lamps.

 

SXT = NO HID's even with Rallye pkg

That is correct, but you can add aftermarket plug and play kits to add HIDs, I dd on my Rallye. The only thing I really wish it had was the LED DRLs, but I can live with out them.
