Radio (uconnect) beeps and pops up a message asking "do you want to change clock setting" repeatedly. Clock time is accurate. Pressing either YES or NO just recycles to the same message after a few seconds. I see threads about this problem on both the Ram and Challenger forums but not here yet. It just happened to me today but it seems to be a common problem. Does FCA have a process (recall?) in place yet to handle it?

it's not a recall...recalls are only for safety issues...you can try and battery disconnect, disconnect both leads and touch both ends together for a couple of seconds...IF YOU HAVE STOP AND GO disconnect 2nd battery as well before touching the ends.....it might be a shock to you but the 2nd battery is still live in the main line.

Thanks for reply. I saw that advice in another forum but it seemed like it was not a success. I will try it however. How do I determine if I have the stop and go second battery and where is it located?

You have a Hemi if your DD is an RT and it does not have stop and go. That is only V6 models on the Durango

It appears that this is constant for touch screens of that era, replacement is necessary to fix. I'm out of warranty, but the dealership says they are going to take care of it since I bought the truck used the day before it showed up.

2018 durango gt same issue. Doesn't happen if I have my phone connected via USB and not listening to the radio. Weird.

I have a 2018 DD, and my radio screen is doing the same thing. The screen looks like it has a huge bubble, the "adjust clock " notification constantly pops up, the screen freezes up; where I can't use any of the functions (no radio, no back up camera, no control over the thermostat, no navigation, cant answer the phone etc). I have to disconnect my battery just to get the screen to go off because it wont shut off after the vehicle is turned off. I took it to the dealership and they said I needed a new radio and it's going to cost $3000. This issue sounds like a manufacturer defect. I've done research and seen class action lawsuits pertaining to this, other forums of people with the same issue. To see so many people having the same issue is indicative of a manufacturer defect and should be grounds for a recall. I've talked to FCA and Dodge care, they are aware of the issue but aren't going to do anything about it. Basically they know it's a potential safety issue but it's not their issue as the company, it's your issue as the consumer, it what they told me. Oh but get it fixed and save your receipt if a recall is issued you'd be compensated, is what they told me as well. That's BS to my ears.
Please report your issue to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's. Report a Safety Problem | NHTSA
Maybe if they enough people report it and shine some light on the issue, some real help and compensation will happen
