We have one of the El Cheapo portable units that we use to keep the little ones busy on long trips. If the straps are adjusted correctly it hangs off of the Rango seats just fine.

My wife (a nurse) has tried the 'medication route' before with really mixed results. Either it completely backfires and causes the kids to become more hyper or the become really car sick! I have learned that an 'in flight movie' was the best option for my sanity.
