Hi everyone,

According to my owner's manual (which I got for free in a salvage yard...score!), I can't take my Durango over 25 miles per hour when using four wheel drive. This could be an issue as my car is equipped with rear wheel drive and we may be getting some snow around here soon. I have so many questions because this is my first winter with this car and I'm unsure how it will react..

Has anyone had experience driving on snowy/icy roads with the Durango? How did it handle?
Should I use 4H or 4L?
What happens if I exceed 25mph?

Look forward to hearing from you!

They are referring to when you are in 4l which gives you a much lower drive ratio. For snow/rain you can use 4h without any worries when necessary.
