Price paid for Durango SRT?

I've searched quite a bit but haven't been able to find a thread that talks about what folks are paying for their SRT.

It usually helps with negotiations when folks know what vehicles are really selling for. Not the True Car all fees added price.

I'd be interested to know what folks paid in terms of selling price plus any dealer added fees. The price before Taxes, Tag, Title, Trade since these will vary from state to state and dealership to dealership.

If everyone would share, I'm sure there's many in here who would appreciate it.

We could break it down by:

MSRP-
Selling Price/Discount-
Dealer Fees-

And if desired, Amount financed/CASH after T,T,T,T.

I'm sure we'll start to see variations as we approach the end of the 2018 sales year.

There are quite a few threads with numbers on what people paid. I’m not sure how TTL is going to help you since that will be very city/state specific and not negotiable(I’d love to negotiate the 10.5% sales tax and $1100 license fee that we get charged. In general many people have purchased their SRTs for $6-8k below MSRP without any added bogus adds besides the state/city requires fees. As you will hear it is very dealer specific. Some advertise SRTs for $6k off, some advertise for MSRP+ADM. Some dealers will sell for well under invoice and others will tell you MsRP is the best deal. Good luck.

Yeah, sat down and had the dealer run numbers on a white one that's been on the lot for 6 months.

They kindly gave me 2500 off the MSRP that included the Destination fee.

Then kindly added the destination fee back in at the bottom and a 699 dealer fee. I smiled and said thanks and left. It wasn't even the color I want. The Granite seems impossible to find.

So yeah. Thanks for the discount. I'll wait.

I just picked up my DDSRT this past Monday. Our dealer didn't have the color/options we wanted but there were two that we liked a state away that they said they could get. The details were as follows:

White with black interior, sunroof, upgraded wheels, rear DVD, tow, rear center console:
MSRP - $71,860
Negotiated Price - $65,000 inclusive of all dealer fees (processing fees, wheel locks, etc.)

White with black interior, sunroof, upgraded wheels, rear DVD, two, rear center console, leather dash, cargo package:
MSRP - $74,455
Negotiated Price - $66,500 inclusive of all dealer fees (processing fees, wheel locks, etc.)

We ended up getting the second one. When I was figuring out which one we wanted they just received a black with red interior that had an MRSP of $75,155 that they said they would give me a better deal on since they had it in stock but my wife wanted white. They probably would have let it go for $65,500-$66,000.

I have read some getting $10k off but I was happy with what I got. Hope this helps.

I leased mine but I always go in and negotiate the price of the vehicle first and then once we are set on a price, then I tell them I am leasing. Right now the money factor is .00015 which is 0.36% so it is almost no interest. Chrysler allows the dealer to mark the money factor up .00042 so be careful as they will likely quote you .00057 as the money factor (which is still low when added to the .00015 at about 1.37%). Also, the residual isn't terrible at 55%-56% depending on mileage, 12k vs. 10k miles per year. These numbers are only for April so they will change soon.

Contacted Craig at Koons.

His 5% below invoice price was $500 better than the deal from any local dealer. And for a special ordered vehicle, I was happy.

Only problem was that I have to have the roof rack/cross bars for my cargo box when we travel. Dodge is not accepting new orders on 2018s with the roof rack.

He said he's placing me on the waiting list for the 2019 orders.

That’s where I oredered as well. I did hear the rumor about roof rack somewhere on the forums, glad I skipped that. I ordered on 3/20 still waiting. The car is finally built pending inspection, so hopefully by the end of the month will go to get it.

So I test drove the DDSRT today. Wow! When talking price, the guy is telling me best he can do is $6k off MSRP. Does anybody know the incentives right now?

Thought about a lease but I drive way too many miles. Unless I can buy it on the back end. Thoughts?

You can’t really go off of monthly lease payment because every state treats sales tax differently so it’s not apples to apples usually. For example in MD we have to pay taxes on the full price of the car for a lease whereas in NY they only pay tax on the leased portion so a lease will be cheaper there. With a lease you still negotiate the purchase price as if you are buying so it is easier to compare purchase price.

Yeah. Just came from the dealership. Sales manager says there's a manufacturing delay at the plant directly driven my a global parts shortage.

So what you find is what you find. There's 4750 off 2020s and 3750 off of 2021s if you can find one.

If you order one, be prepared to get a call that a particular item isn't available such as a sunroof option. And you have to decide to proceed with the order or cancel.

Sucks.
