Need a double check on a RT I'm looking at.
Here are the details:

RT
Napa
Capt chairs
Console
Nav
Sunroof

MSRP is $46675

Invoice is $44224

1st dealer offer before incentives (I'm going to use the special financing)
$43880

I'm thinking I could get them a little lower. Think I can push to $43k even?

Congrats Cyclonegrey, I paid 43k on Thanksgiving weekend. I have tech package, Napa, rear entertainment, sunroof, polished rims w/ black pockets. I bought my AWD RT on 11 Ave in Manhattan. I took all the avail rebates plus money from the dealer. Sticker was just under 51K. I had to finance through TD. I have excellent credit but ended up paying 3.8 percent. That's probably how they got some money back. It's always a battle buying a new vehicle. Gotta do your homework and hope for the best! Congrats again, best of luck!

Hey guys, been lurking for awhile. A dealer near me still has a '14 on the lot. Just wanted opinions on best prices. It a white RT with tow pkg and nav for $41,685. They have it listed at their no haggle price (lol) for $36,685 plus I have a coupon for an addl $500 of, making it $36,185.

Good/bad? How much more can I get off the price? True car now shows that '14 in the mid $37's. But does the depreciation of the '14 offset any savings compared to a '15?

I was looking at Jeep GC Altitudes but I can get the '14 Durango with more options for less $$.

Thoughts??

Yeah, that's a fantastic deal, so long as they are accurate with their pricing. I know a lot of dealers in my area will say its a no haggle price as well, only then to tell you that its only if you qualify for all the incentives (recent grad, military, etc). If its an everyone qualifies price, then you're getting an R/T for slightly more than what I got my SXT Plus Rallye for in early September!

That is the price without the extra $1500 incentives not included. If I qualified (which I don't) it would be $1500 less. Those include the $1k Chrysler lease deal and the $500 military. I wouldn't get either.

I would love the blackout pkg, but that it very easy to do on my own. I wanted a sunroof and rear buckets too but for the price I would settle.

I think you'll have a tough time beating that price then, but if you really wanted some of the other features, it may be worth branch out your search a little and seeing what's out there. It's nice to get a good deal and save money, but it's also nice to get exactly what you want when you're buying a new car, especially if you plan on keeping it for a long time.

Agreed that is a Great Price

Bencurt, yes on an RT. Check my previous thread for the window sticker. RT with tow pkg and nav.

Yes, the Durango has more standard stuff like DRLs and HID headlights. All leather seats. Parksense and backup camera. XM traffic and travel. Heated rear seats. 9 speakers and sub. And the trailer hitch has a cover. None of that is standard (or sometimes available) on the GC Altitude.

Doc/prep fees are bullsh*t. Never agree to pay them, even if they come pre-printed on the paperwork. It's just straight dealer profit. . I'd also ask for a detailed list of what the govt fees are, just to make sure they aren't padding anything else in there. Most likely, it's reg/plate fees, inspection, disposal fees, but just check. What is the sales tax rate in your state, and are you leasing or buying? If leasing, the taxes seem high, unless you live in a state where they tax the full selling price instead of the value used during the lease

RiverRacerX,
I just bought a 2015 RT from a dealer in the L.A. area for about 15% off MSRP (sticker over $44, sold for under $38). They still have two 15 RTs on their website, similarly discounted. If you're interested, I can tell you more and give you a heads-up about the add-on trick they tried to pull.
