Plasti-dip Limited Grille?

Hello,

I just got a 2014 Durango Limited in the Maximum Steel Metallic color and am thinking about plasti-dipping the chrome grille trim. Do you guys think it would look good or would I have to dip the rest of the various chrome accents (mirrors, bottom trim, etc.) for it to look good?

I've never been a fan of chrome and there is a lot of chrome on this thing. Would love to hear people's opinions...should I Plasti dip the grille? All of the chrome? None of the chrome?

I wrapped all the chrome on my 2014 limited in matte black vinyl (roof rack, rocker trim, rear bumper, front bumper) and plasti dipped the fog surrounds and grille (due to complexity to wrap)

all turned out good and un-noticeable between the 2 unless up really close...

Your rides look great guys, thanks for sharing. My main dilemma is that I don't want to dip my rims. I dipped the rims of my old 04 Silverado and it looked great at first but quickly became dirty and started to look like crap. I couldn't wash them either, they just looked dull, gray and dirty no matter what I did. I live in Wisconsin and the road salt and shit in the winter is brutal. I also don't want to Plasti dip the chrome door handles because it obviously won't hold up with people constantly touching it.

Ultimately I feel like it'll look odd having most of the chrome blacked out but then have chrome wheels and door handles still. Do you guys agree? Or do you think it would look good? Maybe I'll play around in Photoshop and see if it looks OK.

Wow, did someone order that with extra bling? I have a 2014 Limited, also Max Steel, and I don't have near that much chrome. All I have is the grille, fog surrounds, and the lower strip around the bottom of the fascias and doors. The mirrors and door handles are body color, and the strip at the bottom of the windows is black.

that's the "chrome appearance package" they call it

There is the expensive option of buying new/used parts and possibly having them painted to match.

Chrome rims will look fine with a blacked out body. Door handles are questionable.

i may be mistaken... but arent the door handles and mirrors just covers?

install instructions... follow in reverse order... looks like youll need to buy color matching caps to replace....

or dip or wrap them while they are off to make it easy with no masking...
