I'm using the new BT version on my 16' Charger AWD Raylle. Really feels more responsive, and feels like a different car. Just keep in mind you will NOT get any hp gains, or better 0-60 times. This gives your accelerator a whole new feel, and makes your throttle more responsive. So now I feel like it takes off when I hit the gas, instead of sitting there thinking about it. It got rid of all the delays I had when giving it gas, no more sponge pedal.

I have been going back and forth getting one for my R/T, because I also want a tuner. I will probably end up with both LOL!

I've had one of these in my Amazon cart for a couple months. Can't really decide wether to pull the trigger or not. Seems like just pushing the pedal more aggressively would get the same results but I feel there must be more to it than that. All the positive reviews make it seem like there must be more to it.

It will make the pedal react as soon as you start pushing it down. It feels more like when vehicles had the drive by wire systems. It's better than the the computer saying "ok, you get this much this time", or for it to sit there and think for a second or two like in the case of my Charger. It just gives you more pedal response, instantly.

I got mine about 2 weeks ago on Ebay, for about $30 off. Not sure if they are still doing that, it was a preorder sale through one of the vendors there.

Edit: Looks like the Durango version is not on sale and is the same price everyone else has it for, whatever to that LOL!

It doesn't really sit there and think when you use Sport Mode, so I really can't see the need at this time if there are no horsepower gains.

I have mine set on Sport 0, the Sport+ is too touchy but usable IMO. Keep in mind this is on a Charger with a V6. The guys running with Charger V8's have said it just about snaps their neck in Sport+. I would assume the Durango's would be very similar in those respects.

I agree that sport mode helps, but not for throttle lag. Sport mode maintains lower gears at a higher RPM, for quicker acceleration, but it doesn't do anything for the spongy feeling in the pedal. I have sport mode in my Charger also, and the PC made a difference.

Someone here said they had a tuner and it helped a lot, but felt the PC was a bigger notice right off the bat. I'll try and link here with the other thread.

Ok, I can't find the other thread, and I might of read it over on the Charger forums.

I have been going back and forth between tuner and pedal commander myself. I'm thinking tuner first, and I'll see what happens after that. At least with a tuner, I can get the Hemi Fever, or Jay Greens tune, and get the Durango really moving.

I re-calibrate my throttle every few months. Seems to get rid of the lag, and its free.

Let us know what you think! I know it made a big difference for our Charger. I'm not so sure about the Durango, will be interesting to hear your take.

been using the pedal commander for about 6 months now and i love it. i keep it set in city mode +1. throttle response is perfect, although i could go to city mode standard at 0 and that would be fine too. easier to modulate the power delivery and eliminates throttle tip in sluggishness at all speeds. just have to train yourself to use a softer pedal foot.

using sport mode or anything higher than city mode +1 was just too aggressive for me and too difficult to modulate power delivery.

it could be cheaper, but 6 months in i'm happy and would purchase again. really like how it makes the vehicle more responsive and easier to access the powah! :giggle:

I don’t doubt the pedal commander. I have an ‘18 RT and I keep it in “off eco mode”
The response is great. I could leave it in “sport mode” and it’s even better! Amazing response. That eats up more gas obviously.
But those 2 options driving give me great pedal response. So I don’t know I would gain with the PC? I am open minded if the difference is apparent without chewing up my gas.

I have a 2014 rt and I have been running the pc for about 3 months now. I had considered it for a while before taking the plunge. Afterwards, I kicked myself for waiting so long. It's like night and day. I'm a lil crazy and run mine in sport+ mode the majority of the time. It takes getting use to. I wouldn't advise starting there. Lol. Sport mode is amazing in itself and city mode even makes a big difference. I haven't met or spoken with anyone who has purchased the pc and regretted it. ?

It has three levels I believe. The first is for normal driving. I notice an immediate boost around town but it is not too aggressive. The second mode is the max setting and is like a race mode. This eliminates all delay whatsoever for me and is the highest I would want to go. The third mode is the lowest / stock if I recall correctly. I keep it in the first mode and it is perfect for my needs so far.
