PCV Valve 3.6 engine how to remove?

240 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  Shabadoo
I have a 2016 Durango, mileage 86xxx / Today I had an oil change and a guy doing the oil showed that my air filter was covered in oil. My friend suggested it was the PCV valve. I had a hard time finding it, it is in an inaccessible place. Can't figure out how to remove it? I tried to pull out the white plastic but so far I have not been able to do this, as I understand it, after that I need to pull off the top part and then pull out the PCV valve on it the inscription rotate. Please tell me if I'm doing it right?

I'm late to the party but see below for the instructions. You need to push on the white tab while simultaneously pulling on the hose. The PCV valve itself has a tab you need to lift in order to rotate and remove it
