anyone know if I can shut the Parksense alarm but keep the camera ON? In reverse? While driving?

I have a 17 rt. The system shuts off automatically when something is hitched. Also you can view the back up camera while driving. Itll stay for a good minute. Its under apps i believe on the screen.

For park sense ... Button on bottom of dash below ac controls. Also if you run it for a moment in reverse while hooked up even just sitting still it will shut itself off. There is no camera override factory setting. Only thing you can do is pull over and put in reverse the only setting I saw was you can set a delay for the camera to shut off but it's only a few seconds after switching to any gear other than reverse.

Correct, I discovered this over the weekend when I was towing a utility trailer. Put it in Reverse, move it a couple of inches, then up it in Drive (with the fixed delay setting for the camera selected On) and you can at least make sure that the hitch is secure when initial moving forward. Just make sure to manually turn the Park Sense off or the alarm will drive you nuts when you put it in Revese.

I dont know what years you guys have. It is possible to view back up camera while driving. Ive done it going 80 on the highway. You click on apps and back up camera. It doesn't even have the guides when you do it. My D is at the dealer getting worked on. Soon as i get it ill post pics.

I have an R/T too and it stopped me dead when I first time tried to reverse with a Uhaul trailer.

I had to manually switch off the parksense. That was 2-3 months ago, don't know if there's an update waiting.
