I'm having some rubbing from my outer tie rod ends on the wheel hub. Please don't tell me there's a left and right side? I just changed them not too long ago and thought they were the same.

99 4x4 Dodge Durango 5.9

Well I just looked and I guess I put them on wrong. Should I be able to remove them without damaging them?

If you're careful with the Tie Rod separator, you should have no problem. Be careful of the boot which is what'll get damaged by the tool.

on a 99 4x4, the left and right outers are different, the inners are identical.

You should be able to remove them without damage if you're careful?

I've been noticing a slight squeak every now and then coming down the ramp and turning in the parking garage at work. I finally got my butt down there to look and sure enough it's been rubbing a little. I caught it just in time.
