Thanks everyone. Can't wait. I have had a Challenger and a Charger but the DDSRT will fit all my needs.

 

Well, the DDSRT is in D Status. Says firm Schedule and has been assigned a VIN. As I reported in the other thread, the only issue was the Cargo Plus option wasn't available anymore. If it becomes available it may be a couple months. Didn't want to wait a couple months for that option so it was removed from the order so it can be built. Sounds like there is an issue with parts supply on the Cargo Plus Option.

 

I'd say bullet dodged. The truck looks way better without the rails....one of the reasons I went with the Durango over the competition. Unless you REALLY needed the roof rails.

Got an update today. Vehicle was updated to D1 status with a Ship date of 3-17-18. Hope that happens !!!

 

Still in D1 status and hasn't been built yet. Oh the wait !!!!

 

You ordered your SRT on February 10th. It's hard to believe it hasn't been built yet. When I ordered my SRT last October, it arrived at my dealership in exactly 6 weeks. You're getting close to that time frame. BTW, mine is Billet Silver also.

 

Good timing, hopefully salt is off the roads and weather warms up, I can't imagine the anxiety of waiting...

 

Here are some pictures of my Billet SRT. As can be seen in the background of the first photo, there is snow. I'm waiting until the grass is green to take some outside shots. The interior is demonic red. The third pic shows the DDSRT parked next to my Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. They seem to get along okay!:thumbsup:

Dr. Jim, Is the Durango stock exhaust louder than the Jeep SRT exhaust? I heard it is.

 

It seems that way to me but not by much. I love the sound of either one. I traded in a 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan with only 3100 miles (LS3 V8 415 horsepower, made in Australia) on the Durango SRT because the Chevy was just too quiet. Plus, nobody knew what it was. People though it was a Malibu. It did have some nice features though like the head-up display on the windshield and a roomy back seat. I also didn't need to get out a stepstool to wash the roof. No loss; love the Durango!

 

Got a call yesterday from my contact at the dealer where I ordered the DDSRT. It was built on Friday and finished up Saturday. It is sitting waiting for final inspection and then off to shipping. Maybe see it in the next 2 weeks !!!

 

I hope your DSRT gets shipped without any delay. My RT was built on 2/21 and it has not yet reached the dealer.

My Order was updated today to KZ Status. Passed inspection, releases from plant, Dealer invoiced. Hope it ships soon !!!

 

That sucks. Sorry to hear.

 

Much to my surprise, my DDSRT was built on Friday and finished up Saturday, was released from the plant yesterday and showed up at the dealer last night in the middle of the night. We are all shocked that it showed up so quickly !!!!! Picking it up Friday !!!!

You are absolutely going to LOVE IT! Congratulations! See what you think on the exhaust sound. I know you were thinking about changing it but you might like it stock. Plus, it saves you extra expense.
