Yeah the 0% would make some difference but that's not dealer controlled. While I may or may not have the credit to get that rate, I still think I should squeeze them till they turn purple, eh? We're all in it for the best deal.

 

When I bought mine I made them an offer. They said they wouldn't make any money on the deal. I said OK if you change your mind you have my number. At the end of the next month they called and asked me "if I was still looking and if I'd be interested in making a deal". I said "if you're willing to take my original offer I'll buy it". He said "come and get it".

If you don't have to have it right now just firmly but politely say no thanks but you have my number if you decide differently. They know they had a deal, let them stew on it. When the end of the month comes and they want to increase their numbers they may call you. It depends on if you're willing to let it go if they call your bluff.

If you're getting the life time warranty on the demo I wouldn't let the miles bother me. My Charger had a few on it. If you think the demo is a better deal go for it. They should discount it a couple $K for being a demo.

I should mentioned I did my own financing. The dealer was essentially getting cash so that helps.

 

Gary that's just what I did. They balked so I told them to call me later if they change their mind. I'm not going to give in to them just because. We'll see; no big deal. I have a D already anyway!
