The dealership told me about 6-8 weeks. 8 weeks would put me at Sept 1st.

 

Everyone should order a 15 and not wait for the 16 just based upon the reduced powertrain warranty from Chrysler

I ordered my DD on June 20 and it's been in D1 status for 13 days without an ETA. Any idea how long is normal for a D1 status?

I ordered my DD R/T AWD on 7/14.

My RT finally arrived this week after 7 weeks...love the Durango but the wait and dealer experience was less than awesome.

Anyone have any idea when the cut-off date is for ordering a 2015?

 

VOTS says order banks are open into nov of this year for a 2015, which is pretty late

How accurate are the estimated deliveries once it hits the D1 status?

Mine went from new order to D1 in a week and shows est delivery of August 25th. Thats about 4 weeks from order to delivery.

 

Mine went from D1 to Ready to ship in 1.5 days. Mine showed up like 6 days early

 

Nice. I expected at least 6 weeks but I will take it.

I didn't need the HEMI as the 3.6 Pentastar with dual exhaust and Mopar upgraded cold air intake took me up to 300hp.

 

Last week, I ordered the 2016 R/T AWD - Granite Crystal Metallic - Lux Leather - Blacktop Package - Tow Package - 8-10 weeks, can't wait!

 

Day after Christmas I approached my dealer looking to order a 16 and told plant was closed till March and confirmed with the sales manager. Was this BS or fact? Ended up getting a 15 but really wanted to order a 16 exactly as I wanted it but didn't want to wait so long. Outgoing vehicle had 110k miles and I just needed fresh wheels. Total BS or some truth to it?

 

As the 2016 I ordered in November, was built on January 4th, I think you can assume BS. They are trying to clear out the lot of 2015s is my guess.

Just ordered a 2016 Durango SXT - Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat - Blacktop Package - Black Leather Suede interior - Uconnect 8.4. Expected delivery in September, will get it late September or early October when I get back from deployment.
