I was told Ordering ends Monday 5/18 for 2015s anyone know if this is true.

 

I find that hard to believe since they just opened ordering back up on the 14th. I'd email Dodge though, I'd think they could give you a better qualified answer on when they'll stop taking orders for 2015's.

Production on 2016's doesn't start until something like late Nov / early Dec.

Not going to believe this a dealer was telling the truth. I did not buy from said stealer. He wanted over sticker for the same truck I ordered from an other dealer 3000 under.

I took delivery last evening despite severe thunderstorms in the area. I made them park it in a protected breezeway outside their collision center until there was a break in the weather.

Pics will be forthcoming later today, if we can get any breaks in the clouds.

 

Yea the local Gurnee Dodge is a bad dealer. The live up to the stealer ship name. They were higher priced then the dealer in the rich neighborhood.

 

Placed my order on 6/6/2015. Dealer gave a VON/VIN today, but there's no longer anyway for the buyer to track it. All the VOTS systems are no longer operational according to Dodge CS. They show a estimated ship date of 6/30. Tried to get my Limited with the 5.7, but Dodge has placed that vehicle/engine combo on restriction. Can't be ordered. Too bad. Only wished I had spring for the upgraded audio, but it's too late to add it now.

 

Wife called last week CS gave info no problem. It was just on the Line to build that monday estimated ship of the 21 for me.

 

I know you can call the dealer and CS, but there just isnt a site for the customer anymore. Too bad, would have been a cool thing to follow.

 

I called my dealer today, trying to see if I can add the Premium package to my Limited. My status is D1, and they told me they would see if it was still possible. Any thoughts?

 

Get it the way you want it. You don't own it until you take delivery.

 

IIRC not at D1, all the parts are scheduled onto the line at that point. you'll have to cancel/re-order I fear.

Not sure how that is handled.

Well today's CS call got not being built till the 21st. So ship date can't be the 21st. Great I think they have no idea what's going on with the Assembly.
Wife keeps calling cause our Daughter 3yrd keeps asking about it. She said she wants to help build it. Too funny.

 

I went KZ yesterday! Definitely a nice Father's Day present.

 

My dealer worked with me. They were unable to change, or cancel my order once it hit D1 status. I called Dodge CS also, and they confirmed that the dealer is locked out,, and no changes can be made by anyone. My dealer agreed to let the car hit his lot, and he would still re order when I wanted. Can't complain at all about how I was treated. They still gave me what I feel is a fair deal, and allowed me to get what I wanted.

It's here! My D arrived this Friday (actually it was at the dealer on Monday but there were some delays in getting it released).

New to this forum. I bought a 2011 Silver RT off the lot back in the day. It was wonderful and loaded. Now I'm back. Just ordered a 2015 RT today ... one of the last as ordering is cut off soon. Black with Red Leather (thus Premium Nappa) ... Sunroof ... Second Row Captains ... Blacktop Package. Keeping it simple this time. I was surprised that I couldn't order the second row center console with Red Leather. Looking forward to getting back into a Durango again!

 

My dealer called me today, car is in D1, build date of 7/16. Hope to see it soon!

 

Mine just went KZ today with an ETA of 7/13!!!

 

Which I now don't understand because I just told my wife and she said "oh yeah I live chatted them yesterday and they told me it was in paint, Status F".
How could it go from paint yesterday to released today? Maybe their system updates slow and then all of a sudden your a few steps ahead? I don't know, I'm excited but also a little apprehensive.

 

Someone said it only takes a day to build one. Mine was built the 20th I had it the 27th.

Outside of Chicago. Goes from Detroit to Toledo OH and trucked to the dealer i bought at.

when should i be able to get my status update on the order del date for dealer
any guidance on what to ask the dealer and when appreciated.

Just ordered my 2015 R/T tonight. I got granite crystal with black top, nappa leather group, trailer package and nav. I didn't get my VON tonight. Not sure if I should have or if I will get it in an email when I get updates.
