Which makes it it exactly 5 mos. from order to delivery.

I will be picking her up this Saturday WOOOWHOOOO !!!!!

 

I ordered mine (2021 RT AWD TowNGo in Redline ) on August 25th and it arrived at the dealer on December 5th.

 

Quick question for all you guys:
Why is there a clunking noise when I shift from park to reverse?
I have noticed that when you are in parking, and you shift to reverse, the transmission is making a loud noise. Is it normal for the first miles of use (only 4 miles on it) or is this something to worry about?

My missing fender badge was fixed. Also the aluminum petals were installed.

Good luck with all your orders. Make sure to inspect your vehicle top to bottom before you take delivery and sign and pay. Have them fix any issue and document it in writing!

It's not the dealers fault the factory QA is down the drain, but they should make right any issue before you give them your money!

 

Finally my DD RT was delivered on Wednesday. Small swirls in paint, rock chip in hood and little scratch in rear right wheel done in transportation.

Overall, satisfied. Paint was some defects, Amal’s, but I don’t know why things like this happens in a $62K car. Anyway… It’s a Dodge

Well- dealer texted me this morning and said that there was movement yesterday afternoon. Still in JS status but said its on to the next vender. Anyone know what's that means? Was it in inspection?

 

I'm guessing my '22 is probably in storage too. My dealer told me it has a "scheduled ship date to a Baltimore terminal at the end of the month." From that, I assume they mean it's not meant to ship out until that date/will be sitting in storage until then. I wish my dealer was as communicative as yours!

No as much as I would like. I decided not to.

 

Chat line states “Thanks for your patience! I can see your new DURANGO has completed the build and has been shipped to storage is to wait for room on a rail car. It should be moving into the shipping stage shortly! Currently no Dealer ETA has been provided. Once shipping arrangements have been confirmed it will generate an ETA. Please reach out to the Selling Dealer as they may have a more accurate date of arrival or status for you”

 

During the shipping process your dealer is going to have the most accurate and specific info. I wouldn’t bother with chat anymore at this point.

 

Got this from Dodge chat for mine earlier: "I can see your order has been released from the factory and was approved for shipping. Shipping arrangements have been completed and it should be leaving soon! The dealer ETA window is 1/28/2022 - 02/14/2022." Happily surprised they actually had dates, since my dealer simply said "probably sometime next month."

 

Your dealer had that info and probably just didn’t want to give it you unfortunately. While it’s actually on rail, your dealer can see where it’s at. From
My experience just a few months back, chat cannot.

 

Yeah... I've seen other folks whose dealers will send actual pictures/screenshots of what they can see. Mine had promised to provide details of each stage it was in during the build when I was ordering it, but has been quiet. Instead I've had to be the one to reach out for every little update. I feel like I'm annoying them and trying to limit myself to once every two weeks or so just to see where things are at.

 

Yeah my dealer hasn’t told me shit unless I asked. You’d think maybe a once or twice a week email.

 

The waiting sucks but you guys will be happy when it arrives.

Ya and apparently the Black Package I ordered didn’t make it according to the window sticker…. Dealer agreed to powder coat the wheels on their dime… pretty interested to find out what shows up, be a pretty intensive going over when it gets here 🤣🍷

 

Well achieved KZ status. (Released from plant and in the rail pipeline). However no ETA yet. My dealer hopes delivery by the end of February. Was also able to see my window sticker. what was your time from KZ to delivery?

 

Probably still another 4 weeks at least. It has to be shipped to the rail yard nearest your dealer and then off loaded from the rail car and transported to your dealer's lot. That last part tookall of 14 days for mine.

 

I was about 2 months order to delivery. The wait seemed to takeforever, especially after it was built and just waiting on shipping. Hang in there!

 

I posted this in another forum. But as of yesterday I was informed that delivery will be between Jan 31 and Feb 9.

I have already order my ZL1 add on rock guards and a auto stop eliminator and they should be here next week Tint will be done at the dealer before delivery. My son is a service advisor at the dealership I bought my Durango. So he is taking care of the tint. (20%). On front windows.
But I’m not excited or anything.

 

Finally picked it up. ‘21 SRT Destroyer Grey. 1 year and 2 weeks after the order was accepted. No issues with exterior or interior. CarPlay hooked up fast and easy. Will swap over to winter wheel setup tomorrow. Post pix in SRT forum in the next dave or 2!

 

Congrats! Enjoy her. If you haven't already order an pvc valve oil separator, worth it.

 

 

Well. Toys are starting to come in. ZL1addons Deluxe rock guards, and my autostop eliminator. Others to come. Dealer has said It should be ready next Saturday. Can’t come soon enough.

 

Curious, what is an autostop eliminator for a SRT?

Are we talking Auto Start/Stop eliminator? Does a SRT have that?

dealer said it could take up to 4 months but they have seen them coming in faster lately.

I ordered my similar build on 1/13 and it is currently int the shipping stage.

How long did it take from the day you ordered it to delivery? I just put my order and deposit in today
