This talk of canceled order has me pretty nervous…. Ordered Jan 13th sill in BG….

 

I believe it's for cars ordered so late in the year. You should be fine

 

That is up there with the Hellcat and a higher margin for them. You'd think they would have had that in your hands by now if at all possible. I'd reach out to your dealer for an update if you haven't bugged them in a bit.

 

Oh they’ve been bugged lol, dunno if it’s a Canadian thing but they say getting info is a nightmare

 

That does seem to be the consensus for the Canadian folks on here. Bummer man, hope you get it soon!

 

Now you all got me worried. My order was accepted July 29th. Mine is an R/T RWD, no blind spot and no technology group. I do have a Vin # and supposedly my build date according to my dealer is today.

 

Most folks here seem to have gotten their VIN the very next day after ordering. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to mean anything one way or another. The factory just came online one week ago tomorrow after being closed 3 weeks. (I forget the actual time period, but it seems like forever). Due to the tremendous backlog in orders, I think you will be waiting a bit. Unless of course a lot of the backlog has the additional features that require the chips and you cut in line as a result. I'd plan on the end of September at the earliest, but I'm just going off of other peoples posts and things seem to change on the daily.

 

My date for shipping has slipped from aug21 to aug 23… that was yesterday. I called and spoke to dodge, they say they will call me in 2 to 3 business days with an update, but i have zero faith as customer service is not an area they understand or excel in , I’m just frustrated that all of the discounts have come and gone, no way to lock in. And yes 21 tow&go tech, blind, blackout , red brembos reactor blue ordered may 10th with a vin next day.

 

Frankly, I'm a bit stunned... I actually received an email from Dodge customer care regarding my R/T build... needless to say, there's no substantive update, but at least they sent the email...

 

And you'll get that same email the next time

 

So yours doesn’t have the parts it’s still waiting to receive them? They’re telling me all the parts are there it’s just in line to get built already.

 

I've been told every time in the last 10 times chatting that they had all the parts and I'm in the sequence to be built.

Hi All, just joined the forum because I ordered a Durango Pursuit. Fleet scheduling is done differently, but production time aside, transit is a whole other issue. I ordered my 2016 Charger Pursuit in 2015. It was built and shipped on schedule, but then sat in a train yard for five weeks in Ayer MA. That was an hour away from me. I offered to go pick it up lol. My Durango order has been accepted but no production schedule date yet. There are fleet orders that were placed in October when ordering opened, still not built yet.

 

I'm fortunate to live pretty close to Michigan,so hopefully will only have to wait a week...

Happy for you, but I really don't get how mine was ordered in May, parts have been in and sequenced since July and I still have jacksh!t. lol. And there are a few guys in front of me that were in front of you where there parts are also supposedly in for their builds. This wait is painful, especially this past week.

 

Im not sure either. I ordered July 29th. I even messaged another chat rep just to be sure and she confirmed the same.

 

Whoaaa I juat did the chat and my car is in framing stage! First update in weeks!

 

Well then called dodge to make sure, they told me its not being built and that it's still waiting on parts. Lmao why are they so bad at info.

 

Dealer just emailed me and said mine is in KZ!!! Yay!!

Chatted late afternoon yesterday and no update. Just used the link online and nada. What number are you calling? I have more faith though since we ordered around the same time and think we have a similar build and yours is on the line. Texting with my dealer, I'm still in D1 status with 8/24 ESD.

 

I used chat online, my ship date was supposed to be today but it's in paint stage as of this morning it updated.

How long did each stage take? Like trim, paint, ect.. from start to finish when it was on the line?

 

That I don't know. All I know is Monday morning when I inquired via online chat, it wasn't even built. But suddenly yesterday it's ready to ship.

 

Build sheets are way more interesting than the window sticker...you should get it soon...

 

It shows every little thing in and on your Durango. My favorite line item... 'Why Buy' Label. I mean PLEASE, don't forget the sticker!!! 🤣

 

How is it that i ordered in February and just yesterday i received my first estimated build date - October 25th. Really feel like the dealership has been giving priority to others if that is even possible. Had a VIN in March…

 

Just got an email, my car is now fully assembled and now waiting for shipping arrangements! Let's goooo
