I factory ordered my DDRT in September 21 and took delivery December 21. Last night some ASSHOLE hit me and totaled my beloved DDRT. So once I settle with his insurance company, gotta factory order a new one. As destroyer grey with red interior and all the specs I want isn’t available anywhere near me. What’s the build time looking like these days? And has anyone been able to order a 23 model with red interior and blackout package? It seems like I can only get both with the 22 model. Dodge just updated my schedule. Looks like the build time right now is about 7 weeks - estimated delivery is 1 Apr. However, just keep in mind that the only option I selected was the standard 2BG (GT Plus - which I guess on the 23s is not an option at all because the website shows that GT plus comes standard with this package).

"Factory technicians are currently building your vehicle. Once assembly is complete, your vehicle will be prepared for shipping."

Got another dealer update today. Was told the car was going to be in my state locally off the rail next tuesday. Could have her by next week!

nice! that was the point where i got my build sheet. Window sticker didnt come until the dealer told me it was in transit which the website shipping was delayed and didnt show that yet. But there is a window sticker icon that will show up on that tracking page so just keep an eye out. when you see that it means its on a train!

Anyone familiar with KZS status code? Dealer is say it’s in transit, but no ETA. I am not having a good feeling about it, especially not being able to find anything positive on Google regarding the code.

Was given the same code by my dealer today. "Shipped" on 7 Mar and dealer said ETA to Denver is 16 Mar. Guessing it is still sitting at the rail yard in Detroit.

Mine was shipped on 7 Mar. No other updates since then. Dealer did say that the vehicles will often sit at the Denver Railyard for weeks because they just don't have drivers to get them down to the dealership in Colorado Springs. Pretty frustrating.

It’s seems like everyone just blame the lack of drivers as a reason why they can’t deliver stuff on time. I think it’s total BS excuses.

Congratulations,

My GT has very similarly timeline as yours from steps 2-5. “Shipped” on 3/6, but was in KZS status. Today I checked with my dealer for update and it’s now in KZ. Sales man sent me a screenshot with tracking details showing it was released at facility, ready for second vendor in Toledo-Nitro on 3/8.

When I asked how long it typically takes from current location to dealership in VA, this was his response “Unfortunately with this status it is still at the factory waiting for a shipping company to be assigned. Once that happens we will have a better idea. I would estimate at this point maybe 2-3 weeks but we do not know for sure”


This is all too frustrating for me being in the dark. So I went to searching and found a new base 22 RT with almost $8k incentives. And should have it sometime next week, being shipped from out of state.

Did the same thing except to light a fire under the dealer's butt. Found the exact model that I ordered at a dealership in Denver. Contacted my dealer and said that unless I get the car this next week, then I am canceling the order and buying the one in Denver. Low and behold, the dealer got back to me within the hour and said they would send a runner up there on Monday to bring it down here. They were perfectly content to let it sit there for 2-4 weeks until they could line up a truck.

Well, it was easier for me since the exact vehicle I ordered is sitting on another dealer's lot 60 miles away. Leverage is a good thing.

Odd how they 're-grouped' items on the sticker opposed to my 22 TnG....
Class IV Receiver Hitch & Trailer Brake Controller which were in my Tow n Go pkg are now in the 'Plus pkg'

Items that were Standard;

Pwr 8-way Driver Seat with Memory & 8-Way Pass Seat
Power Driver / Passenger 4-Way Lumbar Adjust
LED Aux Low Beam & Turn Signal...

Are now tossed into the 'Plus Pkg'

I believe the GT plus configuration to be the best value of all the Durango models. You certainly get quite a bit with the 2BG package.
