Hello, just wondering if it's normal for a 1998 Durango not having flow to transmission oil cooler y park or neutral, it does has flow in gear, R, D or Low gear then there is flow to the oil cooler.......normal or something wrong? Thanks in advance...........TP

Yes, I removed them to install an auxiliary oil cooler to identify what line was in and out and no flow, when I moved the gear selector to gear then there was flow

5.2L is the engine, if it was designed like that, can something be done to the Valve Body so there is always flow? Thanks..........TP

It doesn't in neutral only in gear...........
Just because it was designed like that doesn't mean is effective, here in P.R. where is summer all 12 months we need to keep trannys cooled, like my 2001 cherokee sport with AW4 2wd it has flow once the engine is ON in PND3and1-2
I am fixing my 95 Grand Cherokee 42RE and If it has the no flow I will find the way to fix that, no wonder the 44RE won't last as long as the AW4 does.....maybe the manual valve from TransGo can fix that, will see...thanks for the input maybe someone already has fixed this and can share the how to........TP
