Cool! I would love to take mine on a race course!

I could of had professional pictures of my 14' DD when I had it, would of had to pay so I didn't LOL! They take pictures mainly on the weekends in some areas on the Tail of the Dragon in Tennessee and North Carolina. Not a race course, but still neat.

For all that have never been, it is a really cool route through the mountain pass there if you ever get out that way. 318 curves in 11 miles is an awesome ride! Just be careful, police will nail the crap out of speeders through there.

That's got to be one awesome experience! They would have to kick me off the track before I'd leave LOL!

Very cool experience! I was stationed in Stuttgart (my retirement tour...) and made it to the 'Ring once, but never drove it. Wish I had taken the opportunity to drive a classic track. I had an old Euro spec 7-series BMW that would have been a lot of fun... oh well...

I think I'd have to get a dash cam if I were you.

Went to the Nurburgring yesterday. Best thing EVER!!!!!
Whoa thats awesome man!

You're so lucky that you're close to that track. This is me and my wife on our European delivery last year, October 2018. The most exhilirating, fun, and quite frankly terrifying experience of my life. Totally addicted and would go again and again (probably until I killed myself lol) if I had the chance.

If you ever get an opportunity to take a ride in one of the Ring Taxis it HIGHLY recommend it... the limits those guys push those cars to feel nothing short of amazing.

That said, how'd the Durango do?! Its certainly not the weirdest thing I've seen there. And heck if Benz MLs can be there all day long, I dont see why not a Durango! :)

Honestly if you're not a pro... your nerves get to you after a few laps. I did 3. I would have done more... but the focus it takes, I seriously give massive props to pro racers.

Its a bit different than racing or track days though, beacuse on the tourist days, literally everyone from every skill level and with every type of car you can think of is out there. I got passed by a seriously modified 80's VW rabit like I was standing still... on the other hand there were 911s that wouldn't get outta my way... its really a giant melting pot of anything goes. (Not in terms of rules but in terms of skill and car types).
