Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your new to you Durango. Does your Citadel have the 3.6L, or 5.7L?
Both are good engines, and do an excellent job of motivating the Durangos heft. The 8 speed trans is the icing on the cake.

Thank you.

I went with the 3.6 just because the most id tow is probably 3k lbs and i was hoping for maybe a few more mpg...maybe wishful thinking.

Its an suv to me so i don't need speed.
Awesome ride BUT check out the Sport setting even with the V6. It does add a bit of fun :D

Thank you for that information. I did find it in the vehicle settings and activate it.

The only puzzling thing about the 21 and 22 citadel is that id been looking for a truck thst had to have only two options....a trailer package and awd.

This citadel clearly has both but you cannot find the words trailer package anywhere on the sticker under standard options and the 2021 buyer sheet indicates its part of sn optional package on the citadel.....which is untrue.

Its just odd their own product literature is off but its mot the first time. On my alfa stelvio they advertise the pistons are forged on the 2.0 multiair. Theyre not. That's only on the 2.9.

There's a difference for sure but surprisingly not as huge as i would have thought. Renting a brand new yukon and then driving the Durango its alot closer to the two stelvios ive owned than not.

Use this link, and insert your VIN at the end of it. It will tell you the options that your D rolled out of the factory with. You are looking for "TRAILER TOW GROUP IV ".

If your D has a hitch on it behind the rear bumper, you have the tow group. If there is no hitch, or the one present extends below the rear bumper cover, you don't have the tow group.

Thank you very much for that Don. Worked like a charm and despite the window sticker not showing trailer group iv this sheet did
