I installed the maps yesterday andthey are listed as 7/2023

I did notice one thing, when I did the maps when I was running 17.99 I could not use the system while it updated.
I am running who the hell knows what version (ram version) now and while the maps were loading I had funcionality except maps, nav and weather. This was a good sign for better things to come.

For RAM customers probably, but us Durango owners probably not. If I was out of warranty I would install the RAM software but knowing companies now days they will use any lame excuse to void your warranty I'm suck with 17.99. Is it still obvious I have zero faith in sucklantis to update the Durango FUC5 radios? :ROFLMAO:

I just don't get the damn thoughts behind keeping updates from Durango owners?
@FLDurango21 the Ram firmware works ok but still works 100 percent better than 17.99.
I did the Ram thingy and it blew my UC contact's mind when he looked my VIN up and said, how did you get that firmware. LOL
I kind of said, who knows.. LOL but I did say I could not wait any longer for the promised update so.....

My guess, and just a guess is that the Durango is on its way out of the lineup, they don't care and will blow everyone off until the Durango is gone, then say they no longer support it. If the RAM firmware works better we should be able to use it, but I'm not taking any chance on voiding my warranty at all....I watched Harley do that to a bunch of people for petty shit that didn't matter.

I just installed this map version, the files are listed as CP-TT-FCA.R1HIGH.U-MAP.NAM.NDS-11.0.0_0.ttpkg (0 through 4) The last version I downloaded (back in early June) are listed as 10.0.0_(X) But I took a picture of the map info on the radio (see attached) says released 4-2023. There are daytime maps on the last one as well as this one, at least on my FUconnect5.

WHen I updated the maps 2 days ago using the files I got from the Stellantis link, my version is:

TTNAV.S24.0.0
Latest Installed Map Release Date 7/26/2023

UC5 version FCA-MY22.S26.17-PROD

This tells me there are different map versions within those files and depending on what version of UC5 you have, determines what version map you get.

@Vice-White , thanks, that makes sense about the different files.

@sanitarium16 , thanks! I'm downloading it just to have it, but hesitant to install it for the time being. I'm sure it can't make things worse but I'm paranoid about them voiding the warranty over anything they can find. Does this work on plain old GT models or just for the performance models, or is it like the map files and has different versions for each?

I’m running S26.18 on my 2021 Durango and while loading the map update I could use everything. I didn’t know this was an issue until I saw your post. Hoping to get my hands on T25.51 soon as it’s supposed to be even better than S26.18.
If you do get your hands on it, will you share with us in case we want to do the update also?

Just got around to updating mine. I'm running R17.99-PROD and also could use everything else but navigation while it was updating. After the update the installed map shows Released 07/2023, so all as expected. Only issue I did run into was the first time I attempted the install, when I pressed OK to the navigation being unusable during install it didn't actually start updating (going to the install progress bar). But went fine the second try.

First a disclaimer. I'm an old fart and not fully conversant in IT matters so keep that in mind. I bought a new USB memory stick and attempted to do this update today, to no avail. I went to the link and downloaded the updates and transferred them to the USB do-hickey and tried to follow the instructions when I took it to the Ammo Can but nothing happened. I made the attempt 3 or 4 times and still nothing. Came back in the house, formatted the USB thing, deleted all the downloads and did it all over again from the start. Still nothing. Any suggestions?

Does this Download, USB, and Transfer make my maps live again? My maps work but no live congested road ahead notice (orange to red line), nor alternate route suggestions etc. It does show turn-by-turn directions as I travel. Did I lose the live congestion notices by not paying for UConnect or upgrading Sirruis NAV?

Good point... I have not updated my maps yet.
I did not re-up my UConnect... but have not had an extended route to follow lately that congestion might turn up. The other day I did receive the 'ding ding ding' of a red light camera notification, are you still getting those?

Thanks for the link. I was just able to update to 1/30/2024 release date map set. My 2023 came with an early 2022 version.
I have TTNAV.T26.3.0 version of the app

Thanks for the link as well. I too received a 1/30/2024 release map set, so the Stellantis link is updating. Never received a map update on my 2021, still had a 2020 load, so this is a big one. Still have System Build R17.99-Prod and TTNAV.R18.0.1. But update went smoothly and actually took about 30 minutes. Drive was formatted FAT32 and it loaded without issues. Functionality of everything but Nav was available during upload. In fact I received a text message (CarPlay) while doing it. There was a recall for a Uconnect update to correct not getting updates! I did that but as you can see it didn't do much good. Lat time I was at the dealer I asked them to check not getting updates and he said all was fine. So thanks again!

Looks like Stellantis posted another UC5 NAV update. I am just seeing it now, but the date looks to be March 2024. I am downloading it now and will give it a go this week to see what the actual map data date is once loaded.

The lie that Mopar perpetuates about remote updates are a feature of UC5 is total bullshit! The only way anyone got updated was from pressure on the dealer or in my case, Stellantis.

The reality is, the 4g your car uses for the PCM system and mobile app is most likely the bottom tier of machine to machine 4G service from whomever they contract out.
That service is usually 1 gigabyte per month at speeds < 1Mbit/sec so someone at Dodge said, OMG we cannot push updates because:

1. Will take too long over a 1mb connection
2. The delivery of an 18+gig update OTA will put Dodge in the red on the M2M 4G service they are using which will cost them more money.

Anybody had any issues with the 2025.03 update? After doing that (my sixth update) Nav crashes and reloads about every five minutes and the search function causes it to crash. Thinking it might have been a corrupted file or one not transferred correctly I down loaded it again, erased the flash drive, and made a new copy. Unfortunately it won't load it. I tried going back to the previous update but it wont't load that either. Have restarted the radio several times through settings. May have to wait for the next update.

The updates can't be rolled back. You can try going to a dealer and have them reflash it.
