So I went away on vacation for two weeks. Durango was parked and working just fine at the time. Came home and went to start it up and the battery was discharged enough to not fully turn the engine over. just the usual starter clicking when this kind of thing happens. Gave the truck a jump and immediately there was a large persistent engine knock. Sounds like a thrown rod. Just not sure how that would happen right at engine turnover.

Could it be a starter issue? I understand that this might be too little info, but I'm starting here. I'll try to post a video of the sound it is making.

Initial thoughts anyone? :???::???::???::???:

Thanks guys. After doing a bit more research on this it sounds like I have fallen victim the the hydrolock issue. I live in Seattle where we obviously get a lot of rain and as I mentioned it is parked slightly down hill a lot. That water leak couldn't sound more accurate. Looks like I get to go truck shopping.
