Hi guys, had to make an account to post, but I got a question. I cant seem to find any engine wiring diagrams online which blows my mind. But anyways what I got going on is working on a 2004 durango 5.7l hemi, had a blown rod so they threw an engine at us. Not gonna lie its been kind of a pain in the ass at some points. Anyways I got the new engine in on mounts, transmission all bolted up, but no intake mani or exhaust manis connected yet. Im at the point where I want to throw im intake back on but as im routing the wiring harness around the driver side valve cover for the injectors/coil packs for planning of installation I notice I have a connector I cant find its mate for. The best worded location I can give you is the bottom/back side of the driver head near the fire wall. Its on the direct harness that attaches to the valve cover bolts. Its almost directly south an inch of the two Super Multi Junction connectors located on the back side of that driver head. Directly south of the ground wire that bolts to the back of the head as well. The lead of connector itself is only about 3 inches so there's not too much room for it to go. Its a single red wire with a 2 pin connector.
I had a lot of other stuff going on today and didnt get much time to actually get deep. But like I said I coulnt find any diagrams. All my connectors near the top side of tranny are connected like my o2 sensor. I have my knock sensor plug in since it runs down and around the front side of the head. The connector in question can almost be pulled and maneuvered within a few inches of the knock sensor itself. Any input you guys might have I would greatly appreciate it, or if theres any links to a wiring diagram. Unfortunately no pictures at this time, If need be I can have em tomorrow. Experience and advise are always the best, thanks again.
