Yes, it's a know fact from those that have researched this already. FCA doesn't put them on Durangos, only on Jeeps. If you want them on a Durango then you have to take them off of a Jeep.

 

But why would my car in the options listed on my work website (I work for FCA) show that that is a standard option? Makes no sense and I cant figure it out, lol

 

They aren't "power folding" mirrors, they are power mirrors that can fold. The power part pertains to adjusting the face of the mirror, not folding it in against the door.

 

I can see the confusion caused by the wording though. It should have said something like folding power mirrors instead. It's just a poor choice of phrasing.

shame they have the right power folding mirror icon in the manual, but it doesn't exist on any durango. that's a feature my wife and i both miss from the GC she traded in. my ram has it too.
