While I would have just gone with Whipple's can tune as they have the GM tunes down pat, your way is probably best for max performance.
Plus after this I know Johan will have the tune to set one up pretty close right off the bat.

I think that's because we're in relatively uncharted waters. None of the LX's or WK's were perfectly tuned their first time out, either. We'll get there.....hopefully soon.....about a week from now for me. haha
Any word from the street how the stock Whipple tune does?
I know you decided to go via a custom tune and not the Whipple tune...I wonder how it is. They certainly had the GM tunes down pat.
 
I've taken my G-tech pro to the track and it is surprisingly very accurate to actual time slips on time. On the MPH it showed me going much faster than the timeslips, but at most .1 sec off the time slip and often the same.
