Just about to take ownership of a 18' RT Octane Red.
I've always run mud flaps on my vehicles, front and back because where I live (Rural outskirts of the Ottawa Valley, Canada) we get everything. Mud, Snow, Slush, Salt and sand and gravel tossed up on our cars without them.
My question is, do running boards like the DeeZee NXc provide more or less protection from junk being tossed up from the front wheels?
What about running both at the same time?
Lastly, do running boards reduce your ground clearance, and if so, by how much and have you noticed a difference (getting stuck where you didn't before) etc.
