Cup holder mount?

I used a dashboard mount Ram Mount in Texas for the last 5 years with zero issues. Buddy of mine has been using a windshield mount for longer than that in Texas with zero issues. My brother in law runs one in his rzr. I use one in my rock crawler. Zero issues.

 

me, my wife, my next door neighbor, and my co-worker tried window mounts and they just melt off the window.

 

Anyone know a good mount you can clip into the dash like Panavise makes?

 

The ram mount is a suction cup instead of adhesive. Don’t know what y’all were using. Like i said, 5 years and zero issues in central Texas.

 

No luck with either suction or adhesive. I could posted a pic but just got rid of the mount last week.

I had one in my Impala. Worked great. Can be a little finicky to install depending on how tight the panels are, but it was rock solid once it was installed. Keep in mind, you'll need another part for your particular phone. They offer a large selection of device holders, some that include a charging solution.

 

I purchased this one on Amazon and it attaches securely to the vent. Very firm, no movement. I have to the right of the steering wheel.

I know you said you don't want a dashboard mount, but I used this one in Texas for two years and never had any trouble with it. I really liked the placement. It is made by Scosche.
