Only just saw this, I'll be in Florida at a conference unfortunately. Would've loved to finally get to a meet with local guys. Does anyone know of any meets in the future after this one?

 

We will have to make one!!! Btw my idiot self forgot to register online advanced registration is closed but says you can register that day at event, I will be there, do we all want to meet before we roll in so we can park near each other? It will be here before we know it

there is a movie theatre at that dropped pin, right next to park and off the closest parkway. Just a thought.

 

If you guys want to grab breakfast beforehand, there's a great place called bagelicious bistro that's very close. We could head in from there. Or we could meet at the Home Depot right on Hempstead turnpike

 

Sounds like an even better idea to me!

 

OK, so here is the deal. For those wanting to grab some grub beforehand - we will meet up at Bagelicious - 1864 Front St, East Meadow, NY 11554, at 9am for some eats and then head to the Home Depot (2000 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow, NY 11554) parking lot by 10am to meet up with anyone not coming for breakfast. PLEASE be on time to Home Depot as we want to head across the road to Eisenhower no later than 10:15 so we can ensure there are enough spots for all of us to park together, even if we have to wait on line to get into the show.

Blacktop & NYHunter - if you can PM me your cell#'s I will set up a group text so we can all stay in communication the day of.

I won't be setting up any drinks/dinner afterwards as I have to race back home for my nephew's birthday. Kid has some nerve being born on the day of the car show...

In terms of food - it's only a 4-hour show, so I'm going to bring some basic snacks and drinks. I'm pretty sure any sort of alcohol is prohibited, so I would caution against bringing any.

Any questions feel free to post to the thread, or get me on my cell for those of you who already have it. Look forward to seeing all those shined-up Ds on Sat - and you guys of course!

You are right - I'm thinking it starts at 12. Updated times : 8am to get fat on bagels, 9am at Home Depot.

I'm only bringing some V07 to clean as I live so close.

 

Sounds good! I'll advise before then if I'm doing food or just meeting at Home Depot since I believe kid and wife are tagging along., I have to pay upon entering as I didn't register (shame on me I know) looking forward to it! PM sent for digits
