I was looking at getting a Mopar Performance PCM
Is it smart to get that if I'm sending off to B-G for a Custom "FLASH"??
Would it make more sense to get mine "FLASHED"??

Why get a Mopar PCM just to get it reprogrammed? Are you getting the second one just to prevent down time? B&G doesn't take long to program it. If you want to get a second one, just get a stock one off eBay. It'll be cheaper than a Mopar PCM.

Flash

Rick, you're going to like that flash. You're already running an M1 right?

Still planning

Hi Dwayne, Not yet, I'm toying with wheter or not to do a ceramic coating on the manifold and I haven't picked out the replacement bolts yet. I was thinking stainless allen heads, stainless torx bolts or round allen cap bolts for a better shoulder. The standard old stuff just sits there looking bland. What do you have planned?

mine is cerama-crome coated and is pretty awesome looking. Rod may chime in here on this and agree, but I'll take pictures and you can see for yourself. it's very silver and shiney. it should look great for many years to come. I'm also painting most of my brackets and things red to match my air intake and battery. I was going to go with candy to match my hood stripes, but they'd have clashed with the stuff I already had and too difficult to work out some details I had so I went with the bright red I already had. it should be nice.

what a job though? I have parts everywhere? :wall: :wall:

where's a good source of bolts? I need to find replacements so I can get this thing together this weekend. I wanted to replace the A/C mounting bolts as well as the intake bolts and other misc things?

Bolts

Look in the phone book under fasteners. I found a little shop that lets you buy a few at a time? hard stuff too for head bolts and such. Just bring a bolt with you and they can help match it up. Everyone else wanted me to buy a box. Sometimes machine shops know a good outlet too. Worth a call.

I used a Stainless steel allen on mine,Like how clean they lookedafter the install,Also no tarnished heads
Bought a install kit from a guy at DTO,Washers and bolts was less then 100 for the Intake-Valvecovers-AC-Alt brackets

Great shot Rick! It looked good in person too! Is that the ceramic that Dwayne is taliking about on your M1? Or is that something else alltogether? It looks like the high end gray ceramic in the photo?
