So, first, love my RT so far except a few relatively minor things.

1 - When I first picked it up I had a screw rolling around in the passenger side door storage. No big deal, remove screw...but where was it supposed to go?
2 - Had to have the steering wheel centered as it was clocked slightly to the right. No big deal, had it re-centered.
3 - Have to have the windshield replaced on Friday. There are all sorts of defects in the glass, between the layers. Looks like stuff getting between the window and a layer of tint. There are dozens of them actually IN the glass. Replacing a windshield on a 3 week old vehicle does NOT make me happy.
4 - Had something else rolling around in the dash that I really didn't want to look for but it was driving me insane. Thought it was in the door panel...pulled the passenger panel and internals...nothing. Took a closer listen and it was coming from the passenger side dash. Looked in the vent closest to the passenger door and there was another screw rolling around down inside the duct. The screw would not pass through the vent without physically spreading them, so it didn't just fall in there.
5 - Some loose screws on several trim pieces....no big deal, tightened them up.

Little crap like that annoys me as it should have been caught in QC.

It might be that the screws fell out of the gun during assembly and rather than pick them out, the worker just put on a different one.

Either way it sucks to have those kinds of things on a new vehicle and a relatively spendy one at that. Do you think you have everything sorted out now?

Yeah, I think that's all the issues. Like I said, mostly minor stuff, just annoying.

They are replacing the windshield under warranty. I went to the dealer with the windshield totally clean except I circled every defect in the glass with a dry erase marker. I should have taken picture....looked like my windshield had chicken pox.

Agree, QC seems sketchy at the Durango factory at times.
My biggest complaints with my '14 was paint and panel fit. Both much worse than my '06 300.
That said, I didn't have anything that needed attention during the 3/36 warranty period.

Exterior fit and finish are pretty poor on my '18 R/T. Can't say I've seen any vehicle recently that had as may minor flaws as Dodge has. Def has panel alignment issues and some paint defects the will be addressed as soon as I can get to the dealer. Sad because otherwise it's an awesome vehicle.

On the 18 R/T we just got, all panels fit really well, no paint defects seen....as yet.
Now back in the 80s, we had purchased a 4 dr. Regal new, was sitting in the back seat and one speaker wasn't working. Went in the trunk only to find the speaker was mounted 180 degrees off, wire did not reach so they left the wire hang. 10 minute fix. My Grand National had a bad turbo at 14K, GM said sucks to be you. Paint sucked on it after 30K. Mind you, I worked for GM at the time, I was a Product Engineer for the "G" bodies, didn't buy me a thing. No one cared. Forgot, had a rattle in the Grand National, removed the rear seat to find said rattle, trim pieces fell off, no screws.
