So the local auto parts store was out of blue wiper fluid, so I bought the RainX fluid.
Later learned that RainX fluid coats the surface of the sensor inside the Durango's wiper
reservoir so it lights up on the dash as an empty wiper reservoir.
Seems to be unique problem to a few makes and models, including the Durango.
Am told that the easy fix is to tape a toothbrush to a screwdriver and brush the sensor
to clear the fluid buildup off of the sensor until one can get the reservoir emptied
and refilled with blue fluid.
Does anyone know where the sensor is relative to the reservoir opening on
my 2001 4.7 while facing the grill?
Thanks
Dave
