I got a '12 Crew AWD Hemi, backup camera, remote start, Alpine (?) 9-speaker stereo system, cloth seats (preferred), Rear climate controls, perhaps some other bells/whistles I may be overlooking. I believe she's got a sport type suspension as well, I don't know but I've never seen an SUV handle like this, I've had mustangs that were comparable!
Anyway, I gave $18,000 for her with 107,000mi. As I scoured the Web for weeks looking at perhaps hundredsome of Durango, this one stuck out in her Mineral Gray dress and the price with these options/miles were at least $3,000 less than many others that I seen. In fact, the only ones I saw that were cheaper were 6cyl and usually 2wd, or had the low-end head unit or something. This was the cheapest with all of these features, (which is what I wanted to the "t"), so that's why I jumped on it. Also had a clean, one-owner carfax and 3 month warranty. Full warranty, from a respectable, established dealer. A big place that made me feel like an individual, and treated me right. Never being forceful, no hidden/bogus fees and they helped me out by giving me twice what my trade-in was worth!
I've bought alot of vehicles in my 43 years on this earth and have only a handful of experiences like this while buying. Usually it's a big hassle trying to get to a fair price only to have them throw a bunch of retarded fees at you in the end. Like I said, this was priced at least $3k under all of the other comparable ones that I seen and she was wearing the color that I wanted.
So, i don't feel as though I got hurt, i actually feel like I got a helluva deal! So, yeah. Whadda you guys think?
Oh, I'm new here. How ya doin? I don't like the introduction forums, call me old fashioned but it's just clutter to me, this is the way we used to introduce ourselves, by making a post and talking with each other. Not having a specific place just for, uh high, my name is bill, I've been clean for 3 days! Wooo!! Oh, uh wrong place, you get the idea though.
