What is everyone using to clean and condition the Leguna leather seats?

Hey question on this. I JUST picked up my 2021 RT last week; I have a 3 year old who likes to kick the back of the seats from his car seat and I hadn’t put in the seat back protector before he rid in it and kicked the seat back. I got the Meguiers GOLD CLASSLEATHER CLEANER & CONDITIONER and just wiped down the dirty part that he kicked with his shoe and the wipes basically left a film behind where it was obvious where ai wiped...like, the new untouched leather was dull and clean, where I used the wipes it’s now shined and glossy. I ended up doing the whole seat because I didn’t want spots or streaks where I wiped the dirt but didn’t wipe the rest of the seat...now the passenger’s seat is shined and glossy and the driver’s seat is matte/flat/non-glossy (which is what I want. So the question is, does the shined look eventually soak in and dull out the seat again or is it shiny forever now?

Leather will dry out over time. You’re supposed to “feed” it every once in a while (the definition of “every once in a while” changes depending on who you ask...some say every month, some say every quarter, some say twice a year, some say every year.) I have never owned a car that had leather seats long enough to see the effect drying out can have over time, but I have seen dried out and cracked seats. It doesn’t look good. I have a collection of leather boots and wash/condition them every other month or so using natural waxes (bees wax) and oils (mink oil) but haven’t put that on car seats. Honestly I was just trying to get the dirt off: I should have just used water and a microfiber rag instead of these wipes. My mistake. I need To do more research on how to condition leather car seats.
