As Skippy said, it used for cleaning the paint prior to paint correction. Wash the Durango, and then put your hand in a plastic Baggie and lightly rub your hand over the paint. You will be surprised at how much gunk is still on the paint. Use some detail spray with the clay bar to help lube it. Remember to knee the clay often to keep it clean and working! Have fun

Like others mentioned use plenty of detail spray. In the past, I broke the bar in 2. In case it slips out of your hand, you still have the other half.

Good point. You drop it it's pretty much junk. You might be okay to use it on your rims, but not the paint.
