Anybody tried Joe Gibbs engine oil on their Hemis? It says on the back it's made for the 6.4 hemi.

Wrong application here -- unless you are very heavily modified, and already blew your warranty. I'm not seeing the API starburst, and it for sure doesn't meet Chrysler's spec.

there are lots of different Joe Gibbs oils... I guess the FR series is the closest to what you'd want to run, but as mentioned above I don't know what certifications it has..

at $12 a quart, it should change itself!

Or is it more likely this is a repackaged brand..like Amsoil, Royal Purple, Red-Line just with his name on it?

I'm betting re-brand.

It is surely made by one of the big refiners and private labelled.. perhaps a proprietary additive package ...
