I've been told a few times now that my 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel's lug nuts are swollen and should replace as they're getting increasingly difficult to remove and eventually they'll be impossible to take off if they keep swelling.
My 3 year warranty just expired but I was told this by server a few times before the warranty was up, I really wish Dodge would have recognized this as an issue and replaced them at no cost to me. The service dept at my dealership says all the Durangos have this issue so it's not just me.
It was suggested to me that I buy some solid chrome lug nuts to replace them with instead of getting the same OEM parts which would probably swell up again but I'm having trouble finding anything other than the OEM lug nuts, at least when searching by Make/Model for my vehicle. NAPA said they might be able to find some that'll fit but I need to get one off and bring it in for them to look at.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue and if you've found any better, solid chrome lug nuts to replace them with?
Thanks.
