it's a fair amount of work to choose... my recollection is that it didn't really happen every month.. but I think it would be a good thing to try to get going again. maybe we could set up some sort of nomination and voting system..

Historically, it could be Durango and/or DurangoER of the month.. sometimes the vehicle, sometimes the person..

It's something we've discussed, it's just a matter of having the time to stay on top of it. I personally think that we need to balance it between great trucks and great members. Just want to make sure that those who are great contributors, but may not have the flashiest D, get recognized.

 

I get it, you don't want REDLINE red Durangos to take over and outshine the black and grey Durangos. It would be unfair, so you guys are just trying to figure out the correct Affirmative Action plan for the black, grey and white ones. Let me know if I can be of help.

 

If monthly is too much, maybe we could do quarterly? One truck and one person per quarter?

 

On the TBSS forum it was monthly. They would start the thread on whatever day. First 3 members to post pics of their truck were in. They did it poll style so all members could vote. At the end of the month the truck with most votes wins. You can only win once. They are supposed to be nice pictures, not just run out in your driveway and snap a Durango selfie. The winning trucks pic was on the sites banner for the whole next month. Pretty easy

 

If you guys read my suggestion and we did a poll style voting (which is very simple) that gives EVERYBODY a say, not just moderators. That would mean that EVERYBODY (including the mods and staff) would be eligible to win. Just sayin...

Maybe everyone interested could throw their name in a hat & then mods can pick 3 or 4 users per months & said users can submit a photo and we could divide it that way. Some users who may not be as active could still have a chance to shine. Idk the idea seems cool, all Durangos are pretty badass and everyone deserves a chance to shine

Dodge did a pretty swell job putting together a beast from the factory so the mods wouldn't be all the rage however, keeping a black beauty clean as whistle deserves some recognition as well

 

The dodge challenger limousine seems to be exciting

 

Heh so looks like this has been pretty dead. How about just a pic of the month (with your Durango), same pic can't win more than once, and pic must be original - no photoshopping stuff.
