Those look stupid and there is a 0% chance of any goofy aftermarket lighting going on my Ram. The only tails I'd ever consider replacing mine with are the LED ones the Sports come with

Depends on the state

Yeah, must be legal in NC because I see dumbasses driving around here with all kinds of ridiculous crap. Purple foglights, red, blue, green halos in the headlights, white wheel glow rings. That doesn't count all the idiots who drive around at night with only parking lights, only brights, or no lights at all on. Never seen it so bad until I came out here.

I think the racetrack lights are fantastic; sure they're bright, I could back up just with the light from them and not the backup lights and my rear glass is tinted.

They look great on the Dart, and both generations of Charger they've been on. I think its cool to be able to tell that there is another Dodge up the road from a mile away. And Ford must think its cool too becasue a lot of their vehicles have started with copycat designs that are less characteristic and less good looking. The gen 3 Durango never really stood out to me until 2014 becasue the 11-13 lights were so ho-hum they could have been on a Toyota.

Love 'em. So does the wife

Tell me about it! I don't know that most of that stuff is legal, or just not much enforced. When I moved to Charlotte from Long Island, friends asked me about the traffic - I said everyone is either 10 under the limit or thinks they are qualifying at the speedway, and I think I have the only vehicle in state with working turn signals.

I love the racetrack rear lights. I was first drawn to it from the chargers...I almost got the charger, but we needed the extra seats for the kids.
Same only we don't have kids yet; but we have 2 dogs plus we will have kids before we replace the Durango so we needed the extra room over the GC.

Wife still really wants a Charger so my next vehicle will probably be a scat pak

When get a haircut the gal always asks me if I want square or rounded in the back.

I tell her I don't care because I never see the back of my head.
Thats what I'm talking about!!!!!
All this back and forth about the Racetrack tail lights. When your driving your Durango, you don't see them so who really gives a crap? If you don't like them don't own it go buy one of those sissy looking SUV's that look like a Soccer mom should be driving. The Durango is one of the last Manly looking SUV's left. If Dodge wants to use Racetrack tail lights on it and puts a HEMI in it, I'm completely cool with that.

It's all about the HEMI not the stupid tail lights.

Personally I love the taillights. The brighter the better, nobody will ever have the excuse they don't see me.
