Removing A Front Door Panel On A 1998-2000 Dodge Durango
2001-2003 removal will be very similar but not quite exact based on upgraded door panels on the newer interior design that was introduced in 2001.

Thanks
We should have a race at Carlisle to see who can get the door panels off the fastest
I can have them off in under 1 minute each

Under 1 minute? Wow. That's easy.

See? on 5.9L motor-supplied Durangos there's a much more lengthy process to the removal. It must be related to the increased torque. The engineers didn't want us blowing our own doors off, just those of lessor power plants.

Soooo glad they took those added steps for us. Other than that? oh yea? and the plastic intake manifolds? any other short cuts on the 4.7s?

;)

That extra tightness is most likely related to rust!

The original links give me error messages. I suggest getting a Master Sheet from Crutchfield for directions on removing the door panels. Plus it will tell you how to replace the speakers.
I have a 2001 Dodge Durango 4.7 SLT. My right front passenger side window motor powers up when I push the driver side master power up switch, but the passenger side window doesn't go up. I see some guys in this thread once knew how to get a door panel off in a second or two, but that job looks like a Chinese finger puzzle to me. Any diagrams or videos that would make it easier for me? Thanks.
Pretty much on any "newer" vehicle, to remove door panels, just look for the little cover plates they have to cover the screws. They could be anywhere so do a good job of looking. There is always one behind the interior pull handle. And one on the window crank if applicable. And in general, pull out on the lower half of the door to release the push pins, disconnect any wires you can reach. Then lift up and over the sill and or the lock. Just about every make and model from year to year is different. But only slightly.

Just want to point out that these links are dead in terms of removing door panels, though they do take you to some places where you can buy decent quality nail polish at an amazingly low price

Probably because you need to go back to the nail salon after prying the door panels off with your nails.
