Right turn into traffic, barely clipped the curb with the right rear tire, literally no power pulling on around the corner. I’m guessing it’s the computer in a momentary concern for traction. Everything seems fine there after. Just my stupid driving :)

Yup...if it detects rapid wheel spin it first applies brakes to that wheel, then cuts the power..and the power cut can be quite abrupt.
But if you turn the traction control off...which really only reduces it by about 20% you will be able to power around with some spin.
So what I do is if turning at a corner I know is either slippery, due to raining or the pitch of the road and I'll need to get up to speed...I turn it off so I can accelerate quickly.
