Ok, I apologize in advance for this long thread. Here's the gist, and I'm just looking for some guidance or contact at CDJR. In November of 2020, I was contacted by my dealer to see my interest in purchasing a DD Hellcat. I have previously owned 3 DDs including an R/T and SRT. I told my dealer that I wanted the Hellcat, and asked him to put me on the list for pre-orders. I was assigned a build and advised the vehicle would be delivered around March 2021. In January of 2021, I received an email, from Dodge Corporate, that offered a $3000 cash incentive for the purchase of a new DD, INCLUDING SRT vehicles. Shortly after that email, in February 2021, I received a call from my dealer, indicating the delivery was delayed because of the chip shortage issues, and that he didn't know when the vehicle would be available. I remembered the incentive had an expiration date of April 30, 2021, so I called Dodge Customer Care(DCC) February 2021, at the number provided in email, and was advised that they were aware of the delay, the offer would be honored and was attached to my order/build number. Perfect, until I get the call from dealer on June 3, 2021 stating my truck was on the lot and ready for delivery. I go to the dealer, start the closing process, and was advised there was no incentive attached. So we call DCC and was advise that the incentive expired and was no longer valid. I escalated to a supervicor, and they requested that the email, contaning the incentive, be forwarded to him bc he didn't think SRT vehicles were eligible. Now I'm looking for an email from January in June, and was unable to locate. The supervisor requested I send the email if ever located. Fast forward to December 2022, found the email in an old computer I was about to destroy. Sent email to DCC, and was advised last week it's too old to even consider. I advised them of the previous contact and chip delay, but to no avail. How can I be held responsible for a production delay? Needless to say, I'm really tainted by the experience, especially considering myself a loyal Dodge customer. Your thoughts, positive/negative, are welcomed.

It's a known issue and probably is with all manufacturers. Other manuf. might address it better than Dodge does but this is how they behave. If you weren't able to do the deal you thought you were going to get in June there is no way they would even consider it in December. And it took you until February of the next year to ask?

From what I've just seen on this forum, different dealers approach this in different manners which is unfortunate.

Per my order... just DD TnG, I was able to 'lock in' the incentives at the time of order, or at the time of delivery/deal and choose which was better.. My incentives turned out to be better at the time of delivery so I used those... But my initial paperwork/order with the dealer had that 'language' in it and the incentive I chose at the time of order. I think it was even handwritten but the salesperson signed and I signed and dated it..
