If you could make Dodge change one thing about DDs in their original, new OE configuration, what would it be?

We've been blessed to own two DDs, and so I've obviously got little to complain about with em. If I had to think really hard about its OE configuration and offerings, I believe one of the only things they coulda done better is offer a camera in the front. I guess their reasoning was that DDs in general all offer a higher than average ride height so it wasn't necessary. But still, if I could wave a magic wand and get something else added to the menu from the factory, I think a forward-facing camera would be it.

We’ve been lucky enough to own two DDs, so honestly, there’s not much to complain about. That said, if I really had to nitpick the OE setup, I think one thing they could’ve improved is offering a front-facing camera. I get that the higher ride height probably made it seem unnecessary, but still—it would’ve been a nice addition. If I could wave a magic wand and add one factory option, that’d definitely be it.

Redeye model for the Hellcat SRT.

Shaker hood for the SRT 392, this was even provided on their Mopar show version, but never produced.

Retain vice white exterior color, and add exterior colors other than regular white + shades of grey and black.

More individual options, I wanted the tow package with my SRT but it wasn't offered in the configuration I selected.

Mopar upgrades for coilovers, exhaust, cold air intake, carpet, mud flaps, even rear carpet, instead they gave it all to the aftermarket.

Daytime navigation theme on UConnect would be nice.

I would make it 1969 again and get a Hemi RoadRunner. I know, off topic.

Reiterating what @mrd00dman said: A Redeye version of the Hellcat would be sensational!

A two (2) row version. My second request would be an ALL gray interior (not a black interior with gray seat inserts). And a third would be additional exterior color choices (light and medium colors). And lastly, keep the 5.7L V8.

Hamsquatch and others:
As long as cameras on the DD is being talked about, I am a first time owner, and the one thing I would have changed is the placement of the rear camera. I recently purchased a 2" receiver bike carrier. It aligns perfectly in front of the camera. This means a loud, steady alarm backing up. But not just that. The auto brake engages, too, close to offering a broken neck, as your head snaps!
I don't like saying this, because the Durango has been great so far with me being 99% happy with it (without the bike rack on.) Hopefully, I don't get this pulling my travel trailer soon.

Definitely a Hellcat Redeye version, front headlights w/LED’s that last longer than 50K. Rear racetrack lights that last and don’t leak. 360 degree camera and in the FUconnect, I would like a feature like my Chevy truck had at work. Once you hooked your trailer up, there was an option on the screen to put the lights in a test sequence. You could then step outside in back of your trailer, and watch the lights work. Something that seems would have been pretty easy to program into the FUconnect software. And back to the days of 2021 when you could order your Durango with color choices and real individual options.

Nah, just a Hemi Roadrunner please, I'm old school and have never had one. With 4 speed, buckets and console, fresh air hood and probably in TorRed.

A transmission + transfer case dipstick or a way to know when they're full or need to be filled from the HUD.

Bolt on bushings not pressed in. This would make maintenence a DIY procedure.

Stop all feature development in uConnect + only address bugs for 2-3 years.

Middle row bench seat and captain seats should be interchangeable.

There should be a way to access the fuel tank from inside the cabin to replace fuel pumps is they go bad. Being forced to remove the driveshaft and drop the tank to replace fuel pumps is a stupid design.

I hear ya brother, and I was kinda conflicted on it, but finally reasoned some peace after a little whiskey one night LOL.

Initially I was all "I'd love to have a spare and be able to choose from all the awesome choices out today in regular (non run-flat) offerings". But honest story here - shortly after we got our TNG, I suffered a nail in the sidewall, and I can't convey how blessed and amazed and fortunate I was in being able to simply add a little air and drive her to the dealer the next day to get it fixed, no fuss no muss. We had happened to get the OE tire and wheel coverage added with the extended warranty, so it was a total freebee, but that's another topic ya'll probably don't want me flapping my jaws about LOL.

Also, I too was one of the souls that got the little MOPAR air inflator with the oil filter looking tire goop in our previous Scats, and it just kinda made me feel weird about the whole process and its potential temporary success for limping back vs calling a tow, and the potential dealer clean up on TPMS parts etc.(I trust no one to do anything right LOL). I mean, I was thankful to have it, but it seemed really weird.

Anyhoo, as we're getting older, my wife and I both agreed we're just gonna stick with and embrace the whole run-flat school of thought, especially since her ride has em too. In my mind, as a grown a$$ man I think it's a PITA at best and maybe disaster at worst when I encounter one. I don't even wanna think about my wife ever suffering one when out by herself. My only wish on that front is that more manufacturers start to come out with more A/S super performance run-flats in the DD TNG/392/HC size and specs. And it's not cause I dislike the OE Pirellis, but rather hope that a more competitive market might lower prices on em a bit.

I usually don’t like these “could have’ would have” discussions but I will add to the already credible list of dreams…. It’s not like Dodge Cares will submit a report to corporate. LOL

I wish for an SRT with a $60-65k price point and bench rear seats. ;)

Since I own a '14 V6 AWD the biggest gripes have eventually been fixed; rotary knob for gear selector (fixed in '18, can be updated) and the Eco setting default on every restart (fixed in '15). Others include leaky tail lamp, capless gas filler (back date to '11-13 setup), leaky radiator, leaky coolant system (Dorman fixed most of that), V6 rockers (may have finally fixed those by '19), lack of simple rear mechanical LSD, part time transfer case with the V6 engine (although it has its own issues), air ride suspension (hey if the JGC has it, why not the Durango?), front ride height too low (aftermarket fix and factory fixed in'16), cheap thin leather seat covers (aftermarket fix), integrated trailer brake system (fixed in '19?), power folding outside mirrors (did they ever truly become available ?).
