The bolt holding the left hydraulic cylinder that opens the rear hatch of my durango snapped off at some point during the cold weather. I can't seem to figure out how to get access to the inside of where the bolt secures to the door frame. Anyone ever re-installed a powered hydraulic cylinder on one of these that can give me some insight?

I noticed mine getting slow maybe the unpowered one fails then puts a lot of stress on the power one, so much that the bolt snaps . Im not sure how to get the bolt or the acess point to the broken part but have had great success removing snapped bolts by drilling a small hole then knocking in an old allen key if it spins go up to the next size between american and metric you will get a lot of chances of it grabbing and being able to remove the sheered bolt. Post a pic of the broken part . The angle of access may be a problem to use the method above
