Hello Forum - my first question! I'm a new owner of a gently used 2011 Crew, and was wondering if anyone on the Forum knows of a method to disable the audible warning chime, whenever backing up and the backup camera is active? Seems my bicycle rack is acting as if an imminent collision with an obstruction is occurring, and the Durango's computer is cranking the alarm claxon. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

There should be a park-assist disable button? with a big 'P' on it?

I looked through the manual and it states the setting to turn off is in the personal settings! I have a 2014 and it's right on the dash. Sorry I can't be of more assistance. The manual stated you have 3 setting choices - chime and visual, visual only and nothing at all. Sounds like a lot of work to turn off - maybe this is why it's a button on the dash in the 2014's.

Good luck!

Just in case anyone needs an answer to this still, there's a button under your temperature controls that temporarily disables the park assist.
It looks like this on my 2013 Crew: DSC_0591.jpg
Alternatively, you can turn off park assist fully in the setting menu.
